Why Culture Matters
The Collective Team is the one thing at Collective where you get to hit all aspects of Collective’s mission statement because you create space for people to experience God and you create space for others and yourself to find community all while doing something that matters.
The way we represent ourselves and this church greatly impacts the way guests perceive Jesus. We strive to be as intentional as possible as a team to in turn help people experience God, find community, and do something that matters.
Team Expectations
We serve consistently to be constant and reliable people in the lives of the people we serve
Most serving rhythms include serving two services, attending one every other week OR serving one service, attending one service every week.
We show up on time when we serve and when we attend to honor our fellow team members and church guests
When we attend, we sit up front in the auditorium, actively worship, & take notes to lead by example
We park in the least convenient spots to save spaces closer to the front for guests (see map here)
We avoid attending the 2nd service, unless we have guests with us, to keep seats open for guests
We adhere to the following Team Member clothing guidelines
We engage in ‘Planning Center Services’ & ‘Slack’ apps for team scheduling and communication because being clear is kind
The Planning Center Services App - where Team Members accept serving requests, put in block-out dates to share unavailable, and can see Sunday-specific details to come prepared to serve. Add a photo to your profile!
The Slack App - where Staff and Team Members celebrate wins together as a whole team and communicate information within specific teams.
HERE you will find guidelines we expect our team members to follow on the app. Add a photo that displays your face, your name, and
We utilize the Church Center App to stay up-to-date with things coming up at Collective
We own our growth, have bold faith, and invite others to experience God with us!
